There are those
of us who hate shopping, who hate the bustling crowds and the thought
of finding a parking space.
Rather than
missing out on the bargains out there, they hit the many thousands
of online resources that allow them to shop for anything they choose
from the comfort of their own homes.

It is now possible
to get your groceries, your clothes, even a new car online and have them
delivered right to your door. So we have compiled some of our favorite
Malaysian e-shopping sites that could make your life easier and your credit
card bill heavier.
An offshoot of www.puppy.com.my,
pets2u is an online shopping website catering solely to the needs of your
pet. From carriers to vitamins and dog food to even cat and dog diapers!
You can shop online for it all on here. Goods are sold via pictorial images,
which are large and clear and come with basic descriptions of the goods.
Fill up your shopping
cart, click a recalculate button and you will know immediately how much
you are spending. You can pay by credit card, cash or cheque or transfer
the amount into a Maybank2U account. Purchases have to be over RM150 otherwise
you will be charged an extra RM10 and they will send your dog food anywhere
in Malaysia.
Before all you jazz
fans start clicking, this website has nothing to do the instrument but
everything to do with sexy sensual lingerie. Providing an excellent range
of underwear, the Saxy Club is for people who want more than granny knickers
and sports bras. Provocative and sexy, the lingerie is not for the inhibited.
The most 'decent' items are from the Caelygirl lingerie line, which surprisingly
doesn't break the bank when it comes to its prices. A bra set can cost
as little as RM30 while the more exposed lines under the Saxy Club range
rock in at around RM150 maximum for bodysuits, stockings and more. All
the items are in Malaysian Ringgit and take around three weeks to deliver,
so prepare in advance for those special occasions.
(Un) fortunately, the models wearing any of the outfits do not come with
the items on sale!
Bamboo Florist has
been around since the early 80s and their new online service has brought
this popular store into the technical age. Easy to navigate, www.bambooflorist
clearly defines what floral arrangements they provide and this even includes
virtual flowers. Divided into their Flower Shop and Special Occasions,
simple graphics highlight beautiful floral arrangements and with easy-to-use
payments.
Prices are quoted in US Dollars with the exchange rate pegged at RM3.80
to one US dollar. Delivery is also free within peninsula Malaysia, Sabah
& Sarawak and www.bambooflorist also sends your floral fancies around
the world.
Hungry? Too lazy to
make it to your corner 7-Eleven? Then online grocery shopping is the thing
for you. With cGdeMart you can purchase your groceries from the comfort
of your armchair. From getting your cream crackers to rice, there are
hundreds of items on sale. CGdeMart accepts cash on delivery (once you
have registered with the site) and you can even go through their 'fastbuy'
list, listing lots of your favorite items with a quick list grocery cart.
Delivery is free if you spend more than RM200 but the catch is if you
spend just RM199, a delivery charge of RM5.25 will be levied on top.
