Suria KLCC -
The king of the Kuala Lumpur shopping malls, Suria (which means
sunshine in Bahasa Malaysia) KLCC sits beneath the towering and
very impressive Petronas Twin Towers. Since opening in May 1998,
KLCC as it is more commonly known has been a shining flagship for
the Kuala Lumpur City Center. Spread over six-levels and bathed
in sunlight, KLCC is easily navigated. Shops are easy to find with
anchor tenants, Isetan, Parkson Grand, Tanjong Golden Village and
Scotts Picnic Food Court taking up most of the space.
The top floor of KLCC caters for the hungry, with numerous restaurants
such Madame Kwan's, the Chinese Spring Garden, the Thai Chakri Palace
and the innovative Rain Nudle House. If after eating and you need
a rest, you can also head to Kinokuniya, the absolutely huge Japanese-owned
bookstore, which even, has its own coffee shop.
